WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Some of the Cape Fear’s movers and shakers were honored Friday for what they do for the community.

honoree Kim PaulWWAY’s Daniel Seamans emceed the event, which took place at the Hilton Riverside in Wilmington.
The honorees’ stories were shared to help inspire others in the community. They also had their portraits painted by Kenny Barnes, which were unveiled at Friday’s event.
The 2017 honorees for Ladies and Gentlemen of the Cape are Dr. Damian Brezinski, Holly Grange, Bridgett Rowley, Dana Fisher, Brandon Hickman, Stephanie Willis, Evelyn Bryant, Janna Robertson, Kimberly C. Paul, and LeeAnne Quatterruci.

Kimberly C. Paul wants to radically change the way people face end of life, and she’s using her extensive experience as a storyteller to do just that. From the set of Saturday Night Live in New York City, to casting for CBS daytime, Kimberly has spent the last 17 years telling a very different kind of story. As Vice President of Outreach and Communications for a local hospice on the coast of North Carolina, she used a myriad of award-winning marketing strategies to share real stories about death and dying and the keys to making every moment matter.
