“This whole project is about life and how to Live.”
Episode 10: Andrew George
As a creative person working with hospice for 18 years, I have always believed death was full of color because it represents an individual’s life. Andrew George confirmed that belief for me. When a creative mind crosses the path of a controversial subject such as death and dying, something beautiful happens.
Capturing a daunting subject and turning it into something all can connect with and lean into is a rare talent. Andrew George epitomizes his gift through his photographs of the dying patients he followed over a two-year period. His exhibit, Right Before I Die, is breathtaking and authentic, and his interviews are real and exposing.
Today we learn how all of this came to fruition and understand why his photography is gaining international attention.
